1. Times loses almost 90% of online readership →

Further proof that just putting up a paywall will not spell success for online news organizations. I think it can work, but just locking your site down is not the way to go about it. You have to provide a unique service to your customers, and let those who are not yet registered a taste of what you’re all about.

  2. Interesting iOS4 Bug

It seems that whenever you have an app within a folder, push notifications cease to work. I’ve only noticed it with the push notifications, local app notifications work fine.

  5. The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus →

Interesting flick, little on the odd side, but we liked it. Cool to see how other’s stepped in to finish Heath Ledger’s final film.

  7. Portal →

I’m not usually one to play very many games… and I remember when this came out everyone was talking about it… now that it’s on Mac I’ve finally played… incredibly awesome game and concept.

  8. Object Oriented CSS →

Been using the ideologies behind this for quite some time… and my interest continues to grow… the further this project progresses the better it gets. It’s helped us out at the Times quite a bit… we took our CSS from 500k down to about 8k. Awesome!
